Micah Khan has directed and produced over 30 short films. Micah recently wrapped directing and producing an indie TV pilot, BOOKS, starring Spencer Grammer (Rick and Morty, Greek) and Ajay Naidu (Office Space) and a vampire thriller short film, STAKEOUT, starring Seth Gilliam (The Walking Dead, The Wire) and Sonja O’Hara.
His short film, Meetcute on Danceworld, was featured on MovieMaker Magazine, tweeted by Ben Stiller to his 5.4 million followers, and David Benioff of HBO’s Game of Thrones said of it “Never seen anything quite like it before. I was smiling the whole way through. It’s fresh, original and it kicks ass.” Before that, his action short film, Safe House, won Robert Rodriguez's People's Network Showcase Contest and premiered on El Rey Network.
Micah was a mentee in the esteemed Mentorship Matters BIPOC Writers Initiative mentored by Scott Reynolds (Dexter). Micah is currently collaborating with MovieMaker Magazine on a series of interviews on the craft of filmmaking, where he's interviewed Oscar-nominated filmmakers like Denis Villeneuve, Spike Lee, Joe Wright, Zach Braff, and many more.
Micah was featured on Deadline Hollywood for Coverfly's Best Unproduced Projects of 2023 List.
Micah directed The Zombie Wedding, the first feature film to launch the Weekly World News IP-driven studio slate and acquired by Byron Allen's Freestyle Media. The 21-person ensemble cast includes Cheri Oteri (Saturday Night Live), Seth Gilliam (The Walking Dead), Heather Matarazzo (Scream, Princess Diaries), Kevin Chamberlin (Jessie), Siobhan Fallon Hogan (Men in Black), Vincent Pastore (The Sopranos), Ajay Naidu (Office Space), Micky Dolenz of the Monkees, and many more!
